Installing snow guards on corrugated metal roofing can be tricky – with no seams to attach clamps to, the most important consideration needs to be in maintaining the integrity of your roof. If you’re looking for an ideal solution, we’ve got you covered.
Exactly how does it work? It’s pretty simple, actually. There are four milled countersinks on the underside of the bracket, that, when fitted with four of our EPDM compression-seal bushings, form an impenetrable moisture barrier.
Our winters are pretty extreme up here in the Green Mountains of Vermont, and this system is trusted by architects, engineers, contractors and homeowners alike, due to its unique watertight properties. To give you an example, there are 11 houses in my little neighborhood, 6 of those houses have metal corrugated roofs, and 4 of the 6 homes have the PP145 installed. Tried and true!
We’ve created this installation video to show how the PP145 works, and how easy it is to install. We could explain it to you step-by-step, but if you watch this video once, you’ll “get it” right away.
Pretty straightforward, right?
Not only is the system rugged by design, the PP145 was engineered to withstand even the most extreme conditions.
You can even choose to have your system powder coated to match the roofing material! Everything is made in the USA, so fast lead times are part of the deal when you work with us.
Now that you know more about the system, here’s a photo of what the PP145 looks like when installed.
We’ve also developed an intuitive Online Project Calculator for an immediate layout and project pricing. Give it a try.
